Abstract

The distinction between China and the West in economic outlook has long been a hot issue. It originated from the very ancient times of each other’s history. Pre-Qin and ancient Greece shared many similarities in economic outlook. Afterwards in Qin-Han dynasties and Roman period, the distinctions gradually became prominent. This paper attempts to explore the major distinctions and the causes for them.
