Abstract
The deficiency of critical thinking ability is a common phenomenon among Chinese college students and has influenced the improvement of their academic writing skills. The author aims to solve this teaching problem by analyzing the current teaching situation with reference to the curriculum design and teacher-student challenges at present. Based on the difficulties in students’ English academic writing, a comprehensive review circulation process is designed and carried out to explore the cultivation of students’ critical thinking ability. Both students’ scores and feedback prove its effectiveness.
