Abstract
The question of “who are the subjects of literary translation” is one of the controversial issues in literary translation studies. The study of the paper, on the basis of reader response theory or reception theory, and deconstruction, etc., theoretically reveals that the translator is the only subject of literary translation rather than the author and/or the reader.
