Abstract

Counselors play an important role in employment education in higher education institutions, and their positioning and collaborative role are crucial for students' employment preparation and career development. This study explores the positioning and collaborative role of counselors in employment education in higher education institutions, and discusses how counselors can effectively fulfill their roles, providing comprehensive employment guidance and support to students, and promoting their successful employment and career growth. The research suggests that counselors should focus on personalized counseling, career planning guidance, provision of career information, and school-enterprise cooperation. They should establish a good collaborative mechanism with schools, teachers, parents, and social resources to jointly promote students' employment success.
