Abstract
Electromagnetic field and microwave technology course has many features such as abstract concept, the students' low learning enthusiasm. Several characteristic teaching methods during teaching of the related course are proposed, combined with the learning characteristics of contemporary college students. The results show that the proposed methods can make the abstract theory vivid, increase the students' learning interest, improve the students’ ability to solve practical problems, teaching effect is improved obviously.
