Abstract
The participation of Chinese women in competitive sport has been a difficult and long process, reflecting the difficult journey of women's emancipation in China. In the process of the development of competitive sports in China, women's competitive sports have played an important role. This paper collects case studies of women's participation in competitive sports in China at various stages through the literature method to find out the trajectory of women's participation in competitive sports in China and discover the pattern of their journey. Table tennis, as the 'national ball' rooted in the hearts of the public, has received very few review articles, and there is a lack of research on women's table tennis. This paper take tennis in China during this period, in the hope of providing a theoretical contribution to the sustainable development of women's table tennis in China.
