Abstract

In recent years, linguistic landscape research has gradually become a popular field of sociolinguistics and has received more and more attention from scholars at home and abroad. This paper compares linguistic landscape research at home and abroad, in order to understand the current situation of linguistic landscape in terms of development trends, research theories, research methods and research contents, and clarify research characteristics and hot issues. It also analyzes the problems of linguistic landscape research in terms of theoretical perspectives, research methods and contents. with a view to providing references and proposing suggestions for the future development of linguistic landscape.
