Abstract

At present, the traditional English teaching pattern in colleges and universities have been unable to meet the needs of education reform in the new era. However, the advantages of artificial intelligence technology is not restricted by space. It can promote the reform of college English teaching and learning，help to develop teaching resources and get access to information channel. In recent years, the development of artificial intelligence technology is becoming more and more mature. How to use artificial intelligence technology to innovate teaching methods and teaching evaluation of college English teaching is need to be discussed. The integration of information technology and English course in the field of teaching has created new opportunities for the English teaching process optimization. It has opened up a new space for the construction of intelligent and personalized English teaching environment. The application of artificial intelligence technology in college English teaching can improve the quality of college English teaching, stimulate students' interest in learning English, break through the limitation of traditional English teaching mode, and promote the reform and development of English teaching. This is the basis for the realization of the goal of leaving school English teaching. This paper analyzes the influence of artificial intelligence technology on College English teaching, and probes into the application of artificial intelligence technology in college English teaching from four aspects: English listening, translation, writing and oral English teaching.
