Abstract

As Xixia Studies make further progress in recent years, digitalization and textualization of Xixia characters and historical documents are of paramount importance. This project explores the specific approaches of digitalization and cyberalization of Xixia characters, aiming to create a comprehensive platform for Xixia studies at the international level, which enables webpage display in Xixia characters, fast search, updating and document display. Moreover, the project discusses the interdisciplinary approach involved by drawing on methods in computer science and history studies represented by studies on historical documents of ethnic minorities.
