Abstract

Water resources are basic natural resources and important strategic resources. The contradiction between water supply and demand is still the main bottleneck of sustainable development. Vigorously developing agricultural water saving and improving irrigation guarantee rate are important measures to promote sustainable utilization of water resources. According to the irrigation task of Chongxing Barrage, this paper designs the barrage project to ensure irrigation by analyzing and calculating the agricultural water demand, river ecological water demand, river evaporation and leakage loss, etc.
