Abstract

Vocabulary is the foundation and fundamental guarantee of learning English well. Teaching vocabulary through phonics is a good way to improve students' English learning. English is a second language for our students, so we can use phonics to help students better understand English, develop English vocabulary learning strategies, and master English knowledge. Therefore, this paper focuses on how phonics can be cleverly infiltrated into the teaching of English vocabulary, thus helping students to improve their word memorization efficiency and laying a good foundation for improving their overall English language skills in the future.
