Abstract

The phase of human development termed “adolescence” has attracted high attention from contemporary researchers and psychologists due to the immense the physical, social, and cognitive changes that occur during this phase of development. This article summarizes and reviews these changes and how parents may adjust to support their child throughout this transition.
