Abstract
Coal water slurry (CWS) is a new type of fuel with good rheology and stability. In this paper, the effects of two dispersants on the viscosity and water separation rate of coal water slurry were studied. The results show that when the CWS concentration is 67%, the viscosity of coal slurry added with sodium dodecyl sulfate is 986 mpa·s, and the viscosity of coal slurry added with sodium lignosulfonate is 1001 mpa·s. Adding sodium lignosulfonate coal water slurry has better hydrophilicity and higher stability.
