Abstract

Place names are the embodiment of civilization and historical era civilization, closely linked with social history and culture. City names reflect the language and culture of urban civilization in different historical periods. They are barometers of changes in urban history, geography, politics, economy and culture. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the culture of place names, including in the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
