Abstract

Ideological and political education occupies a very important position in college education. General Secretary Xi Jinping also pointed out at the National ideological and political Conference of Colleges and Universities that it is necessary to make good use of this channel of classroom teaching, promote ideological and political theory education, strengthen the affinity and pertinence of ideological and political education, and unify the educational goal of colleges and universities with the development of the country. College English has a wide audience and is widely opened in every major in colleges and universities, so it is very positive to integrate ideological and political education into college English teaching. Based on the current situation of college English teaching, we will discuss the measures to play the function of college English ideological and political education from the perspective of curriculum ideological and political education.
