Abstract

Objective: To establish a method for determination of 6- gingerol, 8- gingerol and 10- gingerol in dried ginger, processed ginger and ginger. Methods: Gingerol, 6-gingerol, 10-gingerol, 6-gingerol and 8-gingerol were determined by RP-HPLC. Results: the contents of 6-gingerol, 8-gingerol and 10-gingerol were 7.06%, 1.88% and 2.52% respectively. The linear correlation coefficient r of the standard curve was 0.9997, and the RSD of peak area was 0.43% after 5 consecutive injections; The maximum relative deviation of three detection results of the same sample is 4.7%. Conclusion: RP-HPLC method for the determination of gingerol in dried ginger, ginger and processed ginger is simple and accurate.
