The Combined with the characteristics of the course of "Fundamentals of Programming" and undergraduate teaching in application-oriented colleges, this paper expounds the construction of high-quality course of "Fundamentals of Programming" from the aspects of the practice of curriculum teaching reform and the main problems existing in the implementation process, and puts forward the following suggestions: establishing the teaching goal of gradient drop, establishing the teaching concept based on interest, and adopting diversified teaching forms and a series of teaching reform measures such as comprehensive assessment.
