Abstract
This paper talks how effective the Regulations of Shanghai Household Waste Management policy in Shanghai is to reduce negative consumption externalities caused by waste, and gives opinion on how to improve it. Data is collected from the internet, and news about waste sorting are traced. This paper analyzes the problem from an economic perspective with game theory and compares Shanghai’s waste sorting with other countries.
