Abstract
With the deepening of the new curriculum reform in our country, the level of education and teaching in our country is constantly improved, and the teaching methods applied by teachers to practical teaching are also constantly changing and adjusted, so as to meet the needs of the reform and development of the education industry in our country. At present, situational teaching has become one of the important means in our country’s education and teaching. In English Language and Literature teaching, the application of situational teaching method not only plays an important role in improving students’ English language application ability, but also enables more students to participate in classroom teaching, improves teachers’ teaching efficiency and makes students master more English language knowledge. Therefore, this paper analyzes the application of situational teaching method to English Language and Literature teaching, which will improve teachers’ teaching quality as well as help students better integrate into classroom teaching.
