Abstract

With the continuous innovation of Internet information technology, a variety of new media are emerging, and profoundly changing people's life, learning and work. New media has gradually penetrated into all fields of people's production and life. How to achieve industrial upgrading and sustainable development in the new media environment is a common topic of concern for all industry insiders. The application of new media is more extensive in the field of higher education, especially in ideological and political education in colleges. The characteristics of new media, such as high efficiency of communication, open channels, virtual environment and equal interaction, pose a great challenge to the traditional ideological and political teaching mode. How to make full use of the new media form, conform to the new requirements of the times, advance the pace of the current ideological and political teaching reform in colleges with the times, and achieve the important goal of moral education of ideological and political courses based on people-oriented, is a major research topic for ideological and political teachers in colleges, which has a strong academic guidance significance. In this paper, the author starts with the necessity of the ideological and political teaching reform in colleges under the new media environment, points out the defects of the traditional ideological and political teaching mode and the importance of the integration of new media into the ideological and political teaching, and then expounds the effective path of the ideological and political teaching reform in colleges under the new media environment combined with my own experience and research.
