Abstract

Self-education is an effective form of education, which can stimulate the subjective initiative of the educatees. Firstly, the paper analyses the important role of self-education in college students' ideological and political education. Self-education not only helps to enhance the subjective consciousness of college students and promote their all-round development, but also significantly enhances the effectiveness of ideological and political education. Secondly, the combing of the practical value of college students' self-education is not only an effective way and means to improve the effect of education, but also in line with the needs of the times. Finally, some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve college students' self-education ability.
