Creative education is the education whose fundamental value-orientation is to cultivate the creative spirit and ability of students. Classroom teaching is an important way of fostering students’ creative thinking ability. In this article, we discussed the question of how we can implement creative thinking methods in higher mathematics teaching, analyzed current problems of practicing creative thinking methods in higher mathematics classrooms, and put forward relevant solutions. This article, hopefully, will contribute to improving students’ creative ability as well as enhancing their creative awareness.
