This paper discusses the different effects of different physical exercise modes on the cognitive function of the elderly. The processing resources theory of cognitive aging and the role of executive decay theory in cognitive aging are discussed only from the point of view of psychological mechanism. This provides a reference for delaying the decline of cognitive function in the elderly and promoting it to slow down the aging.
