Abstract
The relationship between China and the Philippines has always been a matter of great concern to the Chinese leaders, especially during the dispute over the once rigid South China Sea. Later, the Duterte government made a new orientation on Sino-Philippine relations which has eased and developed the China-Philippines relations. However, there are still many challenges facing the Sino-Philippine relations. So this article will analyze and discuss the concept and significance of the overall national security concept, the diplomatic history of China and Philippines, and the challenges faced by China-Philippines relations in the new era, it also focuses on the challenges faced by China-Philippines relationship in the new era and the issue of China-Philippines security cooperation under the overall security vision.
