Abstract
British novelist Thomas Hardy enjoys a great reputation in the history of British literature. Touched by the ever changing outer world and mysterious human minds, Hardy is good at discovering the charm of nature. He constantly represents positive humanity and dedicated pursuits in his novels. Human essence is highlighted in the integration of simplicity and tranquility between human and nature. Meanwhile, in the process of novel creation, Hardy's pursuit of ideas manifests the vitality of his life.
