Abstract
General Secretary pointed out: “Strengthen the construction of teachers’ ethics, cultivate high-quality teachers, and advocate respecting teachers and valuing teaching in the whole society.” Education is a great plan for our country. To rejuvenate our country, they must first promote education. To strengthen education, they must first strengthen teachers. The construction of teachers’ ethics in colleges and universities has always been a problem that the Party and the government attach importance to. The construction of teachers’ ethics in colleges and universities determines the quality and professional level of teachers in colleges and universities and directly affects the development of higher education and the cultivation of national talents. It is a realistic requirement for university teachers to vigorously advocate the socialist core values and lead the construction of teachers’ ethics with the socialist core values. This paper discusses in detail the relationship bettheyen socialist core values and teachers’ ethics in colleges and universities, makes it clear that the construction of teachers’ ethics in colleges and universities should be guided by the core values, strives to develop new carriers of socialist core values, and puts forward strategies for the construction of teachers’ ethics in colleges and universities under the guidance of socialist core values in the aspects of political theory study, rules and regulations, and teachers’ own quality.
