Abstract
Endowment insurance, with the full name of social basic endowment insurance, is a kind of endowment insurance system that is enforced by the state according to the national unified policy to ensure the basic needs of the majority of retirees. Endowment insurance is an important constituent part of the social security system and one of the most important one in the five major social insurance categories. In recent years, the construction of the social security system in China has achieved breakthrough progresses. The pension insurance system has been continuously improved and the number of participants has continued to increase. However, due to the gradual aggravation of such social problems as the populating aging and the like, endowment insurance is still confronted by enormous risks and challenges. Based on the current status and existing problems of the endowment insurance system, this paper adopts the multiple linear regression analysis to establish a model to study the factors affecting the development of the endowment insurance in China, and uses Eviews for regression analysis, collinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and sequence correlation test to adjust the model, thus finally putting forward feasible suggestions for the future development of the endowment insurance system.
