Abstract
The Buddhist temples in Leizhou peninsula which is located in the southernmost tip of mainland China, has unique features due to the special human geography. The architectural features show the peninsula oceanic nature; The temples own ethnic characteristics in the process of development and evolution; In terms of communication, the temples received a lot of literati which makes the characteristic of communication and spread wide; Integration and interactivity are shown in the belief system; The temples are educational in cultural function.
