Abstract

At present, the development model and goals of the human living environment are constantly changing with the change of social values. This transformation has given urban landscape design an ecological aesthetic and provided a better sensory experience for the people. As an aesthetic element in landscape design, ornamental plants have been adopted by many designers because of their role in regulating small-scale temperature, humidity and purifying air. Therefore, this paper analyzes the ecological aesthetic elements in urban landscape design, and studies the application value of ornamental plants in landscape design, providing theoretical references for relevant designers.
