Abstract

This paper used ADF test, Johansen co-integration test and Granger causality test to prove that the GDP growth and Yunnan-Laos bilateral trade have a positive equilibrium relationship in the long run. The regression results also show that Yunnan's exports to Laos promote both economic growths which in turn expand bilateral trade further. It’s expected that under the "One Belt, One Road" strategy, Yunnan-Laos bilateral trade will expand significantly.
