Abstract
Despite great workloads, rural preschool teachers have relatively low salary and social status, lacking opportunities for professional development. Moreover, their number is small and quality is low. The theory and practice of Tao Xingzhi thought on rural teacher education provide an important solution for solving the problem of salary, cultivation and training of preschool teachers in rural areas.
