Abstract
The study applies the panel cointegration methods to empirically test the relationship between agricultural fertilizer pollution and economic growth. It is indicated that there is a significantly inverted U-shaped curve relationship between economic growth variables and agricultural environmental pollution variables, such as nitrogen pollution in fertilizer application, phosphorus pollution in fertilizer application. China is facing increasingly serious agricultural fertilizer environmental pressures. It is imperative to carry out an effective fertilization control policy, especially based on feasible testing soil and fertilizer reduction methods.
