Abstract

There are obvious regional differences in FDI among provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone of China. Based on the panel data of the Yangtze River Economic Zone from 1985 to 2018, this paper makes a theoretical and Empirical Analysis on the regional differences of FDI based on the Theil index. The results show that technological progress, industrial system, urbanization rate, opening degree and human capital will all have an impact on the regional differences of FDI in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.
