Abstract
The reheat cracking most commonly occurs in the welding coarse grained heat affected zones (CGHAZ) of 2.25Cr1Mo0.25V steels. Thermal simulationtest is an effective method to obtain CGHAZ material. In this paper, based onpractical welding process of 2.25Cr1Mo0.25V steel, a series of thermal simulation tests with different process parameters were carried out onGleeblethermal-mechanical simulator. According to the comparison of hardness, grain size and microstructure between the simulated and actual CGHAZ, the suitable thermal simulation parameters of 2.25Cr1Mo0.25V steel CGHAZ were screened out.
