Abstract

D•H• Laurence is a very influential writer in the 20th century, his novel “The Lady of Chatterley” has been greatly controversial in the literary world, many people regard this book as a book of indulgence, it has also been criticized by the mainstream literary world for a long time. However, with the progress of the times and the liberation of thoughts, everyone gradually understood Lawrence's literary ideas and he was able to feel the unique literary charm from his works. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully read Lawrence's “Lady Chatterley's Lover” and feel Lawrence's outlook on life and love from this book.
