Abstract
Based on characteristics of application-oriented undergraduate education, the concepts of excellent course construction were analyzed. Taking Landscape Design as the example, the strategy of course construction in application-oriented university was discussed from the following aspects: setting target accurately, arranging contents reasonably, innovating practical teaching mode, optimizing teaching methods and perfecting the evaluation system. This can provide reference for the construction of excellent courses of relevant majors in similar colleges and universities.
