Abstract

Cultural conservatism has exerted a profound influence on the whole of modern China and gained new development in the contemporary era. This paper briefly introduces the reasons and basic viewpoints of the rise of cultural conservatism in contemporary China, analyses and comments on its value and limitations, and provides a scientific attitude for a correct view of cultural conservatism in contemporary China.
