Abstract
The world's several large metropolitan areas have different development paths and historical backgrounds for their formation. However, similar problems have emerged in each of their corresponding stages, such as the overpopulation, traffic congestion, low-end industry clustering and environmental problems, which are caused by unreasonable planning and should be managed and addressed accordingly. Based on the author's learning and practical experience, this work first analyzed the problems in the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, then analyzed the governance mechanism of Greater London, and finally put forward the collaborative development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region based on the experience of regional governance in Greater London.
