Basketball is a sports activity which integrates fitness, entertainment and competition. It is widely welcomed by college students, so it occupies an important position in College Physical Education curriculum. Due to the reduction of teaching hours in recent years, students’ basketball basic level is low, especially girls, which brings some difficulties to teaching. How to improve the quality of teaching, cultivate girls’ interest in learning, adapt to the development of modern teaching and accelerate the optimization of teaching process has become a subject for college basketball teachers. At the same time, with the deepening of teaching reform in Colleges and universities, “curriculum ideological and political”—all kinds of courses should go with the ideological and political theory courses in the same direction, forming the concept of synergistic effect, the traditional basketball teaching model has not been able to meet the needs of modern students’ development, and a new teaching model is urgently needed to improve students’ sports and moral quality.
