Abstract

One of the great contributions made by the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China in the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is to make an important judgment on the history of the Communist Party of China and the understanding of the Party itself, that is, "never forget the original intention and remember the mission". The cause of the Party can’t be separated from youth, and the growth of youth can’t be separated from the Party. As the main position of personnel training, cultural exchange, knowledge inheritance and ideological accumulation, colleges and universities shoulder the dual responsibilities of preaching and teaching. In order to train young college student Party members and make them the backbone of socialism with Chinese characteristics, they have a long way to go. We must teach the theme of "never forget the beginning and remember the mission". Education should be integrated into the ideological and political education, the practice of cultivating people with moral integrity, and the practice and inheritance of the consistent political nature and character of the Communist Party of China by young college student Party members.
