The Influence of China's Foreign Trade and Investment on the Foreign Students' Market in China and Management Suggestion

Abstract
This article conducts a quantitative analysis on the impact of China's trade with other countries in the world on the scale of foreign students market, which uses Eview 9.0 to establish a multivariate distribution lag model based on the panel data of 2004-2016 years of the top 10 source countries of overseas students as samples. The results show that the trade and investment between China and other countries in the world is the most important reason of the market size of foreign students’ education in China, and its contribution counts for 60.5%. Additionally, there are other factors that exert the impact on the market of foreign students in China. The effects of these factors make the market of different source countries display individual characteristics. At the end, management suggestions are put forward that according to the needs of national development strategy, the government should make forward-looking policies for the development of foreign students and supporting management provisions; encourage universities to cooperate with various enterprises and give full play to the advantages of existing teaching resources, optimize personnel training programs serving the national economic development strategy.
