Abstract

By calculating the amount of carbon emission in Jilin province, this paper summarizes the characteristics and influencing factors of carbon emission in Jilin province. The substantial decrease of energy intensity in Jilin province has an inhibitory effect on carbon emission; however, coal-based energy structure and economic growth have increased carbon emissions.
