Abstract
In the new era, College English education is confronted with changes and requirements of personnel training, subject development and social needs, and there are many difficulties in its development. This paper puts forward that the reform of College English education should change the direction of College English development and strengthen the status of College English subject by formulating multi-user teaching objectives, rationally planning multi-user individualized curriculum system, strengthening discipline construction, and improving the mechanism of characteristically training.
