Abstract
Based on the paradigm of media adoption, especially the use and Gratification Theory and the theory of emotional management, the study takes MOOC learning as a breakthrough point and reveals the psychological, motivational and emotional reasons behind the adoption and use of MOOC. In the discussion part, aiming at the "obstacles" in the adoption and use of MOOC, the safeguard mechanism is put forward based on the current situation, problems and domestic and foreign experience.
