Abstract

Artificial intelligence technology (AI) is widely used to solve nonlinear problems and plays an important role in the control, management and operation of power systems. The application characteristics of artificial intelligence technology such as expert system, artificial neural network, fuzzy set theory and heuristic search in power system are expounded. The development trend of artificial intelligence technology in power system is forecasted. It is pointed out that hybrid intelligence is one of the important development directions for artificial intelligence.
