Abstract

Time is the basic element of the motion of substances. Different country has different time culture. Only by knowing the differences between countries can we avoid cultural shocks in intercultural communications.This essay is making a comparison between China and America by studying some proverbs and sayings, to see the differences between eastern and western view of time, in linguistic perspective.
