Abstract

Terminology is a term used in a particular discipline or industry to “correctly mark things, phenomena, characteristics, relationships, and processes in specialized fields such as production technology, science, art, and social life.” With the development of society, the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of people's awareness, a large number of professional terms frequently appear in the daily language of the public. Since medicine is closely related to people's lives, more and more medical terms have entered people's lives and become a universal vocabulary. This phenomenon is known as the generalization of medical terms, and the medical terms that are commonly used for general citizenship are called general medical terms.
