Abstract

As Socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era, universities, as an important position to train socialist builders and successors, shoulder the important responsibilities of cultivating outstanding talents, inheriting the fine traditions of the Party and training students to join the Party. However, under the background of the new era, college students' joining the Party is facing new challenges and problems. In this paper, the innovation of the training mechanism of activists joining the Party for college students in the new era is taken as the research object, aiming at discussing how to effectively promote the work of students joining the Party and cultivate more outstanding party member. First of all, by analyzing the current situation of college students joining the party, it reveals the problems of students' low enthusiasm for joining the party and complicated procedures for joining the party. Secondly, from the perspective of theoretical discussion, the necessity and principles of innovating the training mechanism of joining the party are put forward. Then, some successful innovative measures are summarized. Finally, it is concluded that the innovative training mechanism for activists joining the Party should be diversified, personalized and targeted, and the future research direction is prospected. The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for the Party building work in universities, and to promote the smooth development of college students' joining the Party and the growth of party member team.
