Abstract

Educators believe that the cultivation of students' core literacy is an urgent task in current higher education, in which the research on the innovative development of Physical Education (PE) teaching plays an important role. The purpose of this study is to explore how to promote the innovative development of PE teaching in universities under the background of cultivating students' core literacy. The authors of this paper will elaborate on the ways and methods of cultivating college students' PE discipline core literacy, which is of great guiding significance to the development of PE discipline core literacy in universities. Through diversified curriculum design, the combination with social needs, and the support of teachers, students' needs can be better met, which provides a solid foundation for their all-round development and social integration.
