Abstract
With the continuous progress of the times, people are paying more and more attention to the comprehensive education of students. Ideological and political education has been integrated into various disciplines, while also posing higher challenges to teaching. College English courses are compulsory courses for college students, with a wide audience and long class hours. Therefore, it is necessary to deeply explore the ideological and political elements in English courses, achieve the transformation from ideological and political courses to curriculum ideological and political education, and truly achieve full process education. Based on this, the article analyzes the concept of curriculum ideological and political education and the significance of implementing curriculum ideological and political education in college English classrooms, and proposes effective paths for implementing curriculum ideological and political education in college English classrooms, in order to provide reference for the education work of universities.
